We all want flawless and dewy skin..
Hi Gorgeous!
The request I always get is how to get a healthy, flawless looking skin? The answer is going to be hopefully not too long but I put it in 2 parts so below is the first one :)
We have to start from:
-our diet and amount of water we drink on the daily basis
-next thing I have to mention is hours of sleep and rest we give to our body
- any bad stuff? I mean alcohol or cigarettes
- Skin care.. so our daily routine
- Good match of the foundation and not only a shade but we have to match the foundation to our skin type
Let's start with the diet. If our body doesn't like something what we eat we can start seeing imperfections. We may not even know but we can be allergic to something in our diet. The biggest enemy anyway of the skin are unfortunately sweets.. I know I love them myself but they are not helping with anything.. except how good they are.. but they make ageing process coming faster and sweets may cause pimples and spots. The question is if should we all give up sweets? the answer is not at all! Everything is allowed in decent amount or we can find still a sweet but healthy substitute like maybe dry dates or any dry fruits.. they are yummy! We have to find a balance in our life and in our diet.. But you need to talk to yourself first :)And now amount of water we drink is very important too because our skin can be not only dry or oily but dehydrated too, we can see lack of elasticity and tiredness. It is very important to nourish our skin not only from outside with expensive moisturisers but from the inside. From centuries we hear about beauty sleep.. I know it is called a beauty sleep but when we wake up we look like a monster :) but it is very important to have as many hours of sleep as we can. I know it is hard sometimes but we can try at least.. not only our face need a sleep but our whole body need a rest to regenerate the cells.I think I don't have to say that alcohol and cigarettes are bad for our skin condition.. Same story what with sweets just try to control amount of alcohol you drink and if you have a strong will power try to quit smoking.. you skin will appreciate it a lot..Now we come to daily care.. so just start with one main thing- we always remove makeup before sleep, there is no excuse! Our moisturisers won't help if we leave the skin dirty with full makeup on for the whole night! Skin doesn't breath when you leave you makeup on, skin doesn't have time to regenerate itself.. Now we can talk about moisturising, toning, exfoliating etc. When we wake up and before we go to bed so twice a day we have to clean our face and we can use: face cleansing lotion (oily skin) , cleansing milk (dry skin), micellar sollution (any type of the skin), cleansing gels etc.Second stage is toner and lots of people forget about it but we have to use a toner because it gives back the lipid layer on our skin and this is invisible natural protection layer that helps to balance pH's of our skin. After we properly clean the skin and we use toner we can moisturise our face and neck..So first we have to describe our skin type- dry, oily, combination? Do you have any redness or does the skin give you this tight feeling after you clean it out? Even if we know at this stage our skin type it doesn't mean we will buy moisturiser and it will be perfect.. unfortunately it is not that easy.. every brand is different and your skin may like L'oreal and may not like for some reason Garnier or the other way around.. We have to try out few before we will find THE one! but it is possible and not necessary we have to buy expensive moisturiser to be happy with the results. We have to remember that after 25th birthday we can start using anti ageing stuff. It is better to prevent than heal..And remember about under eye moisturiser because skin under the eyes is very sensitive and thin so we need a special care in that area. When you remove the eyes makeup don't pull your skin down just press the cotton pad with a cleansing product you are currently using and let it do the job.. after around 30 seconds without rubbing eye makeup should get off very easy and you help your eye area to stay nice and even without wrinkles.Twice a week is recommended to exfoliate the skin and remember to use different products which match your skin type so for sensitive skin we use the one that you apply and just let it works without rubbing. And the last and very relaxing part we can do for our skin are the face masks.. they are like a small SPA but at home, now there is so many of them in the shops, we can pick up the glowy mask, or cleansing pores one or many many more.. there is only one rule! Just use them :)To daily routine we can add oils, serums and other beauty products and it is great as long as you have your daily routine and you treat you skin the way it deserves..so the best possible way and your skin I can promise is going to pay you back!Below you find pictures of products I use. I'am going to write something about products I use in my blogs..Next blog will be about how to find your foundation- not easy! :)Stay beautiful and mind your skin!
