Please DON'T..

Hi Gorgeous,

Most of you wear makeup on daily basis. Most of you have your own way how to apply makeup.
It is all great, but sometimes we all do mistakes! And it does apply to makeup too. In this post I will try to make you aware of most common mistakes.

First and the most important thing is our face foundation. It cannot be too dark, or to bright.
It should match your skin colour. Try to find face foundation that suits your skin.
If for an example you have a dry skin check for something that gives you dewy finish.
If your foundation doesn't suit you properly, just get NYX Mixer, and you can make it darker or lighter, depends what you need, without changing foundation formula.
Remember that less is better, so it is better to top up the foundation instead of having this cakey layer looking like it is going to fall off.
If you apply too bright foundation just darken out your skin with bronzer.
Take the foundation layer on the neck too, so you don't have this cut line on the jaw.
Concealer- make sure to use different for under the eyes area and different for blemishes.
Skin under the eyes is very thin, so make sure concealer you are using doesn't dry this area unnecessary. For under the eyes it can be one or 2 shades brighter than your skin color- it gives you this fresh look. Always immediately set your under the eye concealer with setting powder to make sure it doesn't crease and end up in small fine lines.
Face Powder and again less is better. Setting powder should only set your face and concealer. Don't cover your face with excess amount of face powder. If by accident you apply too much, try to wipe it off gently with makeup brush and try to use a spray like MAC Fix +. It will take off this powdery effect.
Eyebrows and it will be my personal request- please don't overdraw your eyebrows. It gives you this unnatural look. They will look to dark and you can make an impression of angry person.
Instead of filling your eyebrows just draw missing hair and fill them in very gently. If you apply too much of eyebrow product just use the brush with comb. It will help you out to take out the excess of product.
Eyeshadows- and the rules is one- blend! Blend everything, no harsh lines allowed. Please do not use  shiny eyeshadow all over the eyelid- it will look like you are sweating!
Any shiny pigment/eyeshadow just apply on the eyelid and don't go above the crease.
Don't apply any shiny eyeshadow in the outer corner of the eye or under the bottom lash line.
Eye pencil- If you have small eyes please don't apply black eye liner on the bottom water line.
You can do it only when you do Smokey eyes and you blend eyeshadows under the bottom lash line quite low. The black eyeliner on daily basis is only allowed for protruding eyes.
If your eyes are small just use a beige or nude color to open the eye even more.
Eyeliner- Black eyeliner should make an impression of fuller lashes, should lift your eye corner.
Please don't drag your eyeliner too low. It will make an impression of hooded eyes.
If you don't know how to do one even line just use a black eyeshadow. It gives you this sexy eye look.  If you apply eye liner and line doesn't look straight just apply black eyeshadow on the top and soft the edges.
Mascara- apply the small amount so they don't look clumpy. I call too much of mascara a spider legs. It doesn't look good and it makes impression of 5 eyelashes all together. If you apply to much of mascara or by accident they stick together just use the brush with a small comb or clean mascara brush to separate them.
False Eyelashes- They should match your eye shape. Don't apply them too low, because it gives you this same effect as wrong applied eyeliner- hooded eyes effect!
Bronzer/Contour Don't pick up the color with red undertone, don't apply to much of the product.
If by accident you apply too much just use the powder brush you used to apply your face powder and gently swipe off your face.
Don't pick up too dark colors because it will make stains on your face.
Blush- Gently swipe off apples of the chicks. Don't apply blush when you smile, because when you stop blush will be applied too low. Pick up pink/peach that suits your foundation.
Highlighter- Apply the product with brush. Don't apply too much because you will look sweated.
Gently apply the highlighter on the cheek bones. As you can see on the pictures I wasn't careful while applying the highlighter and I end up having the long stain instead of nice, glowy look.
Lips-  I know full lips are nice but don't overdraw your lips to much. It doesn't look good.
When you want a fuller lips look just apply lip gloss to the centre part of the lips and lip liner little bit darker than lipstick.

If you ever do a mistake on one side of the face repeat it on the other side and than fix it, it will look even and nobody will realize you did something wrong.
