Nevermind...
Hi Gorgeous,
We all have days when mascara and face foundation are not enough, we all have a day with a mood to apply something else. On daily basis I don't wear makeup at all, only over the weekend I apply some makeup. My weekend routine is pretty boring, I use face foundation, bronzer, blush, highlighter and mascara and yes that's it! When it comes to going out.. it is a completely different story. I like to apply my eyeliner and maybe do some bold lips look.. depends on my mood again. Today my mood told me to do a dramatic eyes. Why? I don't know, but I have to admit I like the final result.
Whenever you do makeup remember to listen to yourself so in the end of the day you like the way you look. If you don't wear makeup on daily basis when you go out just try settle look, don't go too dramatic at first, give yourself time.. Looking at yourself in the mirror can be a weird feeling, if you go over the top and you not use to have loads of makeup applied.
Be careful when you go to events and parties, why do I say be careful? Because we tend to apply more than we want and we over draw ourselves, on the night out we want to look normal and we do not makeup to take over the entire look.
When it comes to weeding especially please don't ask for nothing crazy! Stay simple and classy when it comes to makeup. Remember when everything goes right you will have to look at those pictures forever and you don't want to feel like somebody who you don't know and look like stranger in the mirror. Simplicity is beautiful! If you don't wear to much makeup ask your Makeup Artist for something soft but yet still picture friendly. And here is the tricky part.. you have to have a bit of foundation, contour and maybe falsies.. remember camera is cruel and if you wear a very minimum you won't be happy with pictures at all. Camera will show things you didn't know they even exist.
Makeup for wedding should be delicate but camera is washing of the colours so the best test is to do pictures with your trial makeup to see how do the show up on the screen! You might think makeup is to heavy when camera will show you that there is almost no makeup at all.
This will be the one exception when you have to consider having a bit more, but still reasonable amount of makeup.
When you don't wear on daily basis blue eyeshadow and pink lipstick don't ask for it when you have your makeup done. Why? because again you won't feel yourself. It is good to stay in safe zone with browns, nudes and peaches.. them colours always look good and they photograph nicely.
Dramatic look I've created was completely spontaneous, I did start with Smokey Eye and I was keep blending and applying different eyeshadow and pigments.
When you have a bit of time you can keep playing with makeup.. you might be surprised with the result!
Hope you like the makeup look I've created. All the products I've used you find down below.
