As First I would like to wish a Happy Birthday to all of you who are celebrating. Yes, I have been celebrating my Birthday over the weekend so please forgive me my delay with this post.
Hopefully you understand the 'extraordinary circumstances'.
When it comes to celebrating time I don't have a 'go to' makeup. I will be loyal to my rule when I say it all depends on current mood. Nonetheless there are makeup looks quite versatile.
Makeup look I've created it's my proposal as all-embracing look. Don't get me wrong, I don't want you to think it is a very basic look, not at all! It is a special occasion makeup except it is not designated for any particular time/date. This make up look can be re-created for your Birthday, when you are a Wedding Guest, Bridesmaid etc.it will photograph beautifully and it won't be overwhelming.
I have days even when they are close to my heart, when I don't know if should I go for darker eyes or maybe a bold lipstick look. Also I know when there is an important date usually my skin is giving me loads of troubles. This same was now, my skin still is extremely naughty, I think I've never had so many imperfections at once. But can we let our moody skin ruin important time for us? No, we can't. Remember green concealer will be your best friend and he is there for you always.
I did whatever I could so a night before I've used my Foreo Luna 2, I did exfoliate my skin and I've applied a sheet face mask by Garnier. Before I went sleep I've applied my Face Serum by Lierac- it is a miracle in the bottle (psst, don't say that to anyone it is a secret). And I follow my day/night time routine. After I woke up my skin wasn't perfect, it was impossible to get rid of all imperfections trough the night but still it was looking way better. I did whatever I could and the last thing to apply was the smile. Happiness looks good on everyone so please wear it on daily basis.
You can't let minor things destroyed your mood and important day.
When it comes to makeup I did created makeup look without any bigger plan. I've just set down and I knew what I want to achieved.. kind of, I am a woman.. even when I decide, I still can change my mind, but the idea was good enough to begin. This makeup look has something shiny, there is a liner above eyelashes, but blended with black eye shadow. Lips are in pink/nude color with a lip gloss so they look juicy. When it comes to contour and highlighter - perfect for any occasion, especially when there is a camera involved, not too much but still dewy looking skin.
