Wine not..

Hi Gorgeous,

Christmas Party Time! I just can't believe it is almost December. I feel like it is still early autumn. Somehow this year doesn't feel like Christmas for me yet.
Nonetheless we have to plan a little bit ahead and this is the reason why below you can find my first proposition of Christmas Party's Makeup look.
As always I will advise you to create the makeup look you we feel comfortable in. Also remember, it is this time of the year when we can add a bit of glitter and shine to our look, this extra touch of shine to emphasize sparkle in eyes.
Because Christmas Party begins when it is dark  it won't look like it is too much, it will be the other way around! You are going to shine like a diamond! And why not? We all should feel like million dollars and not only from time to time.
When it comes to Christmas Party you can create makeup that will match your outfit- for me it is very rare, because I prefer when makeup match your complexion, eyes etc. instead of clothes, but again it is my personal opinion. Sometimes it is great to add maybe a blue pigment  in the inner corners if you wear a blue dress..
Or you can think about something timeless and classic as your special occasion look for e.g. gold eye-makeup with a red lipstick. It will never go out of fashion and it will always look stunning. But maybe this year you don't want classic and conventional makeup, maybe this year you want to try something new, bold and creative? In this case this makeup look is for you.
I've created silver-gold eye-makeup with a touch of brown and black, with a dark aubergine lipstick.
I just love the way this makeup looks and additionally in the inner corner I've applied silver glitter.
Underneath the eye I've applied burgundy eye-shadow to emphasize my eye color and it is doing the job! Right?
If you have blue eyes red/burgundy or any warm, orange eye-shadow will highlight your eye color.
Dark, bold lipstick look I would advise to those of you with fuller lips because it is really going to catch the attention and if you don't have that much of a lip and you still would like to wear dark or red lipstick what you can do is to apply something shiny on the top of your lipstick and draw darker contours and fill them with slightly lighter shade of a lipstick to make an impression of fuller lips.
There is always few tips and tricks to do a small plastic surgery without using a scalpel.
When it comes to eyes- this look will suit most of you because of shiny eyelid and dark corners, this will create illusion of bigger eyes, and if your eyes are hooded you can darker the corner even more. If your eyes are protruding black eye-pencil in the inner water line will do a great job, just remember to smudge the line with eye-shadows as I did.
I think this makeup can be a real firecracker and you will look stunning in it if you decide to re-create it or create something similar that suits your makeup taste even more.

M.
