Hi Gorgeous,
Valentine's Day is just behind the corner, surprisingly winter is still here. This is the reason why I've decided to warm up the atmosphere with this warm orange-burgundy makeup look.
I don't know how about you but I feel like it's been enough of winter and cold and it's time for spring. Nonetheless, there is one more day to celebrate and it is Valentine's Day. Some people love this day, others hate it, but we have to remember this is the day to celebrate love and not only with our partners but also with friends and family. While we are constantly rushing everywhere, we have no time to spend with our beloved, this day might be perfect to show to them that we care...
I am in this group of people who believe that we don't need a special day to celebrate love and to show our second half that we love him/her. In my opinion, we should mind our love well. With love is like with bonfire. In the beginning, the flame is big and strong, but if we don't add wood to our bonfire it will go off, same is with love but I don't have in my mind buying presents, I mean giving our time, respect, showing that we care, listen and respect. It's all about non-materialistic stuff that we can't buy... I think it's very important to nurture our love. Find a minute to prepare dinner just for two of you, put mobiles away and enjoy your company. There is always something to learn about yourselves.
When it comes to your friends, be careful... There are loads of people who are not your friends even when they pretend to be them. Friends are with you in a good and bad situation, they should want your happiness unconditionally. I've learned that people around us can be fake and instead of being supportive, they are selfish.
In my life I still see many people that would like to ruin everything, they grow when they add another needle into our heart. I know they are not worth our attention and I believe that karma pays back.
On the other side, those mean people make me sad and angry- you ask me why? Because I don't understand why people who are calling themselves our friends can be so nasty.
Friendship means respect, trust and platonic love, not selfish, self-oriented and possessive.
Recently I've to join Netflix because a friend of mine recommended the TV show called 'You', and I have to admit I love it! It is a great capture of how cruel is love and friendship, and how manic it can be. Sometimes we might be miserable in love, but in the end, the happiness of the person we love should be our priority. We shouldn't reach for something that doesn't belong to us.
Remember to respect other people, their relationships and friendships!
I hope you don't have negative people in your life, and if you do ask them to leave, you don't need such an energy sucker around you. Hopefully, you will be able to manage them bad people and they won't hurt you and your beloved!
I think I am schmoozing to much already and it is time to go back to makeup... In this makeup look, I've used my brand new Makeup Palette by Anastasia Beverly Hills called Soft Glam. Eyeshadows are creamy and easy to blend, they are mixing and blending beautifully. I know now why it was such a craziness about this eyeshadow palette. Colours are great and we can create day and evening makeup look. Shiny eyeshadows in this palette are fantastic and they look fab when you apply them dry just with your fingers! When it comes to face there is one more product I am amazed by and it is my new face loose-setting powder by Too Faced- it is absolutely amazing and I like it more than Translucent Setting Powder by Laura Mercier. With this makeup look, I've used also my new face foundation by Fenty Beauty and I still have mixed feelings about this foundation- I've applied it this time with my Beauty Blender and I think it looks better than applied with a buffing brush. With this foundation you have to be careful because some powders make it darker, I thought that it oxidises on the skin but I think certain face powders cause it e.g. Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder because Too Faced powder didn't change the shade of face foundation at all. Last but not least Turbo Pigments by Glam Shop made in Poland by Hania- they are the most amazing pigments I've ever used! Quality is just outstanding and the glow they give is just crazy!
