Something white, borrowed and blue
Hi Gorgeous,
Royal wedding is all over the internet. And I have to say Duchess of Sussex looked amazing! I love the Wedding Dress by Givenchy and Royal's Tiara picked by Meghan. Overall I think it is one of the most beautiful Royal's Wedding Look of all time. I am a huge fan of simplicity and class.
Meghan reminds me that there are Brides to be out there now. Are you one of them maybe? Are you looking for some wedding makeup inspiration? You are in the right place!
Wedding is a lifetime experience, most of the Bride will be very careful when it comes to picking up the Makeup Artist for their Big Day, some of you might do the makeup on your own and that is great too! You have to feel beautiful and the most important comfortable and remeber to be you! Meghan is a great example because she was already a Bride once, and as we can see this time she picked up very simple and classy look. Minimal makeup and nude nails are a finish touch to the entire look. It was a Royal Wedding so she could wear very big, princessy gown, full of lace and blink, but she didn't. Makeup complements the dress and Meghan's style.
When it comes to makeup the most important is a base- face foundation.
Your skin should look flawless so if you are getting your makeup done by Makeup Artist try to get a trail Makeup 6 months before your Big Day and ask for advice when it comes to skincare. If you do your makeup yourself start doing face masks and exfoliate your skin on on regular basis couple of months before, so on your Big Day you will look your best.
Face foundation- you need a medium to full coverage, the reason for it are camera and pictures, even when your skin is nice remember to even out the skintone and to give it a definition with a contour.
When it comes to deciding what face foundation to use pick up one which doesn't have a high SPF, so it does photograph nicely and it don't flash back!
Face powder is a must so you don't shine, you need to look glowy and dewy.
When your face is flawless then you can think about eye makeup and lips.
Try to match you makeup and hair to your dress, so it is a complete look.
My makeup proposition is very classy look with bold lips. If you are not a big fan of red lipstick or you don't feel good wearing such a statement colour try something nude/pink. With this eyemakeup you can use whatever colour you feel comfortable in. If you don't know how to apply falsies on your own you can get Lashes done in a Beauty Saloon. Half mink, half syntetic are looking nice. If you can't have them done cause you are allergic like me, it is ok, just apply more coats of mascara and the black eyeliner will give the illusion of fuller eyelashes anyway.
Make sure you set you makeup with setting spray! make sure to use waterproof mascara- just in case.. and to have lipstick to top up the color if needed..
Hope you like my idea for Wedding Makeup! If you have any question just write them in comments box.
Xoxo,
M.
