Against all odds..
Hi Gorgeous,
They are days in our life when we feel powerful, positive and nothing is impossible for us, on the other hand, there are days when our comfy place is a bed, all we can wear is our pyjamas and all we want to do is watch sad films and eat ice creams. I think you all know what I am talking about now, but darlings this is called balance. Since everything is Insta-perfect and our life should be ideal and faultless, kids, partner, body and house should be too. We have to remember that in the end, we are human beings and life is not perfect, but we should cherish our imperfect life and take the most out of it. Even when our imperfect car breaks down or we have bad hair day along with bad skin day we should try to find something positive and be grateful for what we have. As a matter of fact we have a car that can break down, nice hair that usually looks great. The Instagram can be a tricky place because it shows us an unrealistic vision of life unless it is your job and all that you do is pictures and this is how you make money. Other than that we have a job that we either like or hate, we have our private life- so we maybe have a partner and kids or pets. But we have to keep in mind, that this is our choice and if you are unhappy with your current situation maybe it would be good to think about making some changes, it is always good to talk, to explain, to write down pros and cons. When we are in the long-term relationship we often forgot how powerful can be a conversation and that our other half doesn't have a magic ball to read our minds. We all know the situation when our face's said it all and we've been asked the famous quote ' what's wrong?' and our answer was probably even more famous- 'nothing' when in the back of our head we said 40 minutes monologue about what is bothering us. I can't say I am not like that either. I am and I don't know why sometimes we can't just say what makes us feel upset or sad or even angry. A Friend of mine told me that whatever we feel can't be wrong because these are our feelings and nobody can't judge them and say they're wrong. And I agree 100%! Try to listen to yourself, don't be harsh on your minds and feelings. We can all be confused in life, we might don't know what we want or what we should do... but don't worry there is always a sunrise after a sunset. You will figure it out... I know you will, I believe in you!
Try to talk openly about your feelings, try to call them, say how you feel and it will help you out.
Remember to say to people that you love them if you do or that they make you feel angry if they did.
And again a bit of chit-chat is changed into an essay but you know me by now, right?
Let's go back to makeup as this is what this blog is about, kind off I think ;)
Today's makeup look is another option for romantic Valentine's Date or any other romantic date. This makeup look is full of pinks, purples and a bit of orange and burgundy colours. I think it will look amazing on all eye colours, so try it on you!
I've used mostly eyeshadows from eyeshadow palette created by Nabla called Poison Garden and it is absolutely amazing. I think it is my favourite eyeshadow palette and if I will have to pick one just now I will say Nabla for sure. The pigmentation is fantastic, colours are unreal and you can create thousands of looks with this eyeshadow palette. A second winner in this makeup look is this face foundation by No7 it is a light coverage foundation but it looks absolutely amazing if you like natural, dewy, glowy finish just go to your nearest drug store and buy it for yourself.
Contouring, highlighting and blusher I've done with a help of Hourglass Ambient Light Vol.4.
It was my Christmas Present and I am in love. It is a very first time when I use all of the colours in a palette, I don't even have one that is less in use than others. It is an absolutely amazing product! Worth every penny for sure and I am terrified because it is limited edition.
Hope you like makeup look I've created and if you have anything you would like to tell me just write it down in the comment box down below. I will be more than happy to answer all your questions or concerns.
